I admit it, I'm a sucker for redheads. And these two little guys made my day!
Older brother B likes to be with Daddy, and a bear hug makes him happy:
While little brother M has just started crawling so he's ready to explore!
So curious!
Somehow B got mom to go get a juice refill AND convinced dad to jump up and down for our amusement. Little brother M is definitely amused (I think B is laughing AT us and not with us!)
I hope this beautiful senior gets a kick out of the title of this post. Look at the gorgeous hair! B is actually a 2009 senior, counting down the days 'til graduation. But her yearbook photo was... well, let's say it was way too "typical yearbook photo" especially for someone as creative a Miss B. So she wanted something that portrayed who she really is.
Best of luck next year, I know you are going to have an amazing time at college! Looking forward to seeing your film work!
I was at a red light and looked over to see the sun peeking through the bare trees. I thought "Now, this is why I should carry my camera all the time!" And then I realized that I did in fact have the camera in my bag! (This is either a classic example of serendipity, or it is further evidence that I'm losing my mind....)
In any case, for once I was glad that this red light is <obnoxiously> long and snapped off three frames. Here's my favorite :)
Catching up on some blogging! I recently photographed these Irish Dance champions in their gorgeous dresses. Look at the energy here!

This little one was born on Christmas day! Having been born on Thanksgiving myself (and being called a turkey, ha ha, yeah, that never gets old), I have much sympathy for a holiday baby, LOL! Perhaps he & I can commisserate someday. In any case, I met up with him very soon after his arrival and found the sweetest little guy, he even slept well for me and barely fussed as I moved him around.
I tried to take him home, smuggled in with my various blankets and sheepskin, but once again, mom and dad decided they wanted to keep him. Who could blame them?
Just wanted to share a few more of this little two-week-old sweetie. She wasn't interested in sleeping much, but she did give us a few smiles!
And like a true princess, she tried on momma's ring. It's a little too big for her wee little fingers, but someday...
Here she is sleeping for 2.5 seconds. I'm not even exaggerating, LOL! (and look, still a hint of a smile! I think she was messing with me...)
And finally, I have to share big sister... who I am not kidding you jumped for a good 30 minutes all while talking to me. As soon as someone figures out how to bottle up a 2 year old's energy, they need to contact me... I'm going to sell it to her parents. Ha ha ha ha! She's such a cutie, I can still hear her calling me "Miss Lori, look! Look at meeeeeee! Do you wanna play Doraaaaaaa?"
I was able to go outside for a few minutes today before my cheeks went numb and my ears started burning... it's also not easy to wear gloves and shoot, LOL.
Hope everyone is staying warm! I wanted to wish everyone a happy & safe holiday season. Enjoy the beauty & peace of the season :) Merry Christmas! Here's one from today:
